OVERVIEW: The DC Warehouse Associate co-ordinates sales order shipments and purchase order receipts within the ERP system. This position will work closely with the warehouse manager to coordinate picking, packing, inventory counts. Receives, picks, and ships frozen and dry goods
Develop a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control processes and procedures
Counts and calculates quantity of product to verify accuracy of shipment
Must be able to work in all temperature controlled selecting environments, from frozen to ambient
Forklift (Reach), Order picker, and pallet jack experience desired
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays
Forklift/MHE certifications preferred
Previous warehouse experience handling food desired
Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices preferred
Familiar with RF guns, WMS (SAP preferred)
Have the personal strength and stamina to walk briskly for most of the day throughout the facility
