CEDA is currently looking to hire 2 Heavy Equipment Technician, 3/4 Year Apprentices for our truck shop in the Fort McMurray located at 180 MacLennan Crescent. Travel and accommodation will not be provided.
Full time, year round work with an excellent team completing all repairs in house, allowing continuous growth and skill development

- 12 hour shifts; all day shifts (No nights)
- We pride ourselves on safety and quality.
Preventative maintenance on Hydrovacs, Wet Vaccuum, Combo and Water trucks; High Pressure Water Blasting Equipment, Highway tractors and trailers (Peterbilt, Western Star, Kenworth)
Commercial Vehicle Inspections
Work alongside apprentices and delegate work
Attend daily tool box and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations
Must be a registered (On-Road) Apprentice.
Valid Class 5 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
Valid Class 1 or 3 license would be an asset
Experience in hydraulic, electrical, and pump systems is an asset
Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test
You’re meticulous – you have no problem completing the required paperwork for projects and jobs
Computers are your friend, not your enemy
