Job Title: Part-Time Optometric Assistant Location : Evanston, NW, Calgary
Hours : 10-15 hours per week
Salary : Competitive with vision benefits
About the Role :
We’re looking for a friendly, professional Part-Time Optometric Assistant to help with pre-testing procedures. This position is permanent with potential for room to grow for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform preliminary testing for all examinations (Auto-refraction/IOP/Fundus Photos/OCT/VF)
- Record and enter test results into EMR (RevolutionEHR).
- Prepare patients for their exams and explain the testing process.
- Maintain professional demeanor
- Help with scheduling appointments and verifying insurance when needed.
Qualifications :
- Optometric Assisting experience required.
- Experience using Revolution EHR is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Comfortable with ongoing learning.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
