Structural Engineer / Designer (Institutional & Public Sector)

Primarily In-Office (Limited Hybrid Flexibility)

Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits + RRSP Matching

With a strong and stable pipeline driven by long-term partnerships across education, government, and infrastructure sectors, this firm offers consistent project flow and long-term career stability.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer or Designer who enjoys working in a collaborative, tight-knit environment and wants exposure to the full lifecycle of projects —from site investigations through to project closeout.

Full Project Lifecycle Ownership: Manage projects from initial site visits and assessments through design, tendering, contract administration, and final closeout documentation

Structural Design & Analysis: Prepare and review structural designs for institutional and public-sector buildings using industry-standard tools

Technical Documentation: Develop clear, concise engineering reports and supporting documentation for public and institutional clients

Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key technical point of contact, ensuring project requirements, timelines, and deliverables are met

Field Reviews & Site Work: Conduct site inspections and field reviews across the GTA as part of project execution

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Registered as an EIT with Professional Engineers Ontario and actively working toward P.Experience: 3–6 years of experience in structural building design Experience in institutional, telecom, or public-sector projects is highly preferred

Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, S-Frame, and Bluebeam

Soft Skills: Strong communication and report-writing abilities, with a client-facing mindset

Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site visits within the GTA
