Full-Time Temporary Educational Assistant

This full-time temporary position is with an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a wide range of assignments. The Board operates 2 administration buildings and 21 schools (18 elementary 2 secondary) in 13 communities covering 7851 square kilometers for the welfare of 4580 pupils. COPE Local 103
Under the direction and supervision of the Principal the Educational Assistant will:
self-help skills
in program planning in close co-operation with the home setting and school;
in assessment and treatment planning;
Provide supervision as assigned; 2 or 3 year Community College Diploma in Educational Assistant Autism and Behaviour Management or Developmental Services Worker or Youth Worker Program Early Childhood Education Social Services;
~3-5 years of experience in a school setting; PREFERRED ASSETS:

BMS Training;
Qualifications and experience with Autism and Behaviour Science;
Experience with a variety of data collection methods;
Demonstrated peer leadership in a variety of school settings;
Applications sent directly to the schools or to Human Resources will NOT be considered
