Care Aide: personal Support Worker

This position works directly with residents using a person-centred approach. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with our residents and assist individuals with their day-to-day living.

Provide routine tasks that support residents with their daily activities.

• Coordinate health, medical, medication, hygiene, nutrition, and clothing needs of residents.
• Prepare meals, serve residents and assist with feeding
• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing and other daily hygiene needs.
• Assist with resident housekeeping needs, including laundry, bed making, vacuuming, and bed making.
• Maintain administrative records and reports.
• Encourage the development of friendships and family connections and ensure participation.
• Oversee home and property maintenance, ensure it is in good repair, and follow fire, health, and safety standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents and corporate information.
