Mitsubishi Power Canada, Ltd. is a major supplier of steam turbines, gas turbines and generators to the energy industry in Canada. We are currently seeking for a Manufacturing Assistant to join our team!
Responsibilities:Promote a safe working environment
Operate forklift and overhead crane (training will be provided)
Use of hand and power tools for wood working
Packing of manufactured products
Completion of Quality Documentation
General organization, housekeeping, and of the facility and equipment
Contribute to building a positive team spirit
Communicate effectively with coworkers at all levels
Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of third parties.
Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times.
Other duties as assigned Requirements:
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Grade 12 or Equivalent
Ability to perform physical labor
Manual dexterity and demonstrated ability for accurate and precise work with hand tools
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
Ability to work extended hours and/or shiftwork during peak times
Basic Computer skills
