Job Overview :
Join a leading manufacturer of aluminum extrusions as an Industrial Millwright in Pickering, ON. We are seeking highly skilled and experienced millwrights with a strong background in heavy industrial environments.
If you have a proven track record in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities :
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulics, bearings, chains, and conveyors.
Perform arc welding as needed for equipment repairs.
Maintain and repair natural gas furnaces (ovens).
Handle v-belts, couplings, and alignments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to meet production demands.
Qualifications :
- Certified 433A Millwright/Industrial Mechanic.
- 5-8 years of experience in a heavy industrial environment.
- Strong expertise in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics, conveyors, and other mechanical systems.
- Proficient in arc welding and maintenance of natural gas furnaces.
- Excellent knowledge of v-belts, couplings, and equipment alignments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work 12-hour continental rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
