Full-time legal assistant/clerk

$60k - $75k per year

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a passionate and meticulous Legal Assistant to join their downtown Montreal team.

The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of four years of relevant experience, impeccable bilingualism, and a strong command of legal drafting. A permanent, full-time role

RRSP (Registered Retirement Savings Plan) available after 6 months of employment, including a 2% employer contribution.

100% at the office

3 weeks of vacation

Health management plan and access to telemedicine services.

Immersive experience within the dynamic world of legal administration.

Accounting Data Management: Billing: Handle the lawyer's detailed billing with rigor and accuracy, prepare, review, and issue client invoices in accordance with firm policies. Provide ad-hoc support to the legal assistants in the litigation department when available.

Excellent command of French and English (written and spoken).

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department (an asset).

Knowledge of Maître billing software (an asset).

Knowledge of iManage document management software (an asset).

Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). communicate with English-speaking clients/partners/employees located outside Quebec on a daily basis
