Warehouse Inventory Assistant

It's time to wrangle up some excitement because Westerner Days is back in town from July 17th to 21st, 2024! Get ready to experience the best fair and expo in Central Alberta - and guess what? You could be right in the heart of the action as part of our awesome team! Join us at Westerner Park and be a part of the exposition magic! We're on the lookout for enthusiastic souls to join our team as Cash Office Clerks. Here's what you'll be doing:
Transferring food & beverage products to locations for set up, responding to requests and bringing product during events, and returning products to the warehouse post-event, ensuring accurate counts
Utilize various equipment including but not limited to pallet jacks, company vehicles, gators (ATV) to assist with moving product throughout the site
Ensuring freshness of transferred goods utilizing first in, first out procedures
Accurate counting and recording of product levels for input into Westerner Park Inventory System for warehouse, concession, and bar inventories
Removal of all waste, recycling, and perishable food items from concession areas at end of or during events under guidance of warehouse/shift lead
Proper securing of product in warehouse, including but not limited to, alcohol product
General cleaning duties as required (sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.) in warehouse or any location, under guidance of warehouse lead

Some previous warehouse experience, preferably in a food & beverage environment is preferred
Must be of legal age to obtain a ProServe certification
Strong organizational skills are required
Ability to manually handle and transfer loads of up to 50 lbs is required
Period of employment: July 17th to 21st, 2024, may be required to attend a training shift prior to July 17th. Rate of Pay: $16.32 to $19.00 per hour Affiliation: Member of the Westerner Employee's Association #LI-DNI
