Wentworth Restaurants Inc. is a division of the Wentworth Hospitality Group, which features four standout Vancouver restaurants and will soon open another location. Cafe & Bar, in Yaletown, offers Michelin-recommended comfort food, highlighted by its signature rotisserie chicken. Tableau Bar & Bistro, in Coal Harbour, serves award-winning French cuisine with a West Coast twist. Maxine’s Cafe & Bar, on Burrard Street, blends Soho charm with European bistro flair, offering vibrant all-day dining. Folietta, in Grandview-Woodlands, showcases Italian-inspired dishes made with fresh West Coast ingredients.
The Host(ess) is the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for a welcoming and memorable dining experience. As a key part of the front-of-house team, the Host(ess) contributes to the overall flow and energy of the space, ensuring guests feel valued and cared for from the moment they arrive. This position reports to the General Manager, with directions and instructions from Senior Management and the Owners at times.
Providing fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests, restaurant staff and culinary production team.
Being very familiar with all food and beverage items on the menu.
Protecting the restaurant and guests by complying with sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Valid BC Foodsafe Certification & BC Serving it Right Certification.
Experience: prior experience in a food-serving establishment.
Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, days, nights, and weekends.
Customer service focus and quality orientated.
Adaptable and flexible.
This full/part-time position generally works eight-hour days. The specific work hours during the workday may be determined through mutual agreement, allowing for flexibility as needed.
