The Location: Hollyburn Country Club is located in West Vancouver at 950 Cross Creek Road. Prior to applying for this position, we strongly encourage you to Google our location to ensure that you will be able to travel to and from work as public transportation is limited.
Position Summary
Our service mission is to provide the Hollyburn membership with an unparalleled dining experience in a premium casual setting. By delivering exceptional hospitality and attentive service, we aim to create memorable moments that our Members are proud to share with family and friends. As a Host/Hostess, you will be an integral part of this mission, ensuring each guest enjoys outstanding service that reflects Hollyburn's commitment to excellence
Position Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome Members and guests upon arrival, providing courteous and professional service that reflects Hollyburn’s high standards.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating system to ensure efficient table turnover and a positive dining experience.
- Communicate effectively with the service and culinary teams to optimize seating flow and minimize wait times.
- Assist with food running, clearing, and resetting tables when necessary to support the service team.
- Address Member and guest inquiries or concerns promptly and with professionalism, escalating issues as required to management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is an asset.
- Valid Serving It Right (preferred)
- Food Safe Level 1 certifications (preferred).
- Confident, well-presented, and an effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Own transportation is an asset due to the Club’s location and limited public transit options.
- Candidates must agree to complete a Police Information Check as part of the onboarding process.

- This position operates 100% on-site
- Regular evenings or weekend work may be required during peak periods or special events
- Own transportation is an asset as public transportation is not frequent to/from the Club
