The Security Technician is a motivated organized and personable individual willing to contribute their experience and expertise in the area of service and installation of Alarm Intrusion Access Control and CCTV Systems. The Security Technician is a team player and a vital member of the CFLS Team.
The Security Technician role is a full time - hourly position. Perform service and installation work on various intrusion access control and video surveillance systems.
~ Door hardware installation and configuring
Perform routine inspections of intrusion and fire monitoring systems
Install cabling and conduit in commercial and industrial buildings
Prepare concise and timely work orders while on site
Prepare weekly time sheets and submit for payroll
Required to be on the On-Call after hours rotation
1-3 years experience as an installation and security service technician an asset
- Logical thinking and troubleshooting an asset
- Understanding of data networks and network-based systems an asset
- Customer service oriented
- General construction knowledge an asset
- Strong computer skills an asset
- Knowledge of the fire alarm and sprinkler industry an asset
