Summary of Duties:
Reports to the Chemist. Conducts analyses and interprets results of tests performed on waste water and related samples.
Work Performed:
Receives and collects samples and conducts analysis of waste water and related samples.
Follows specified laboratory practices. Uses and maintains laboratory equipment as needed.
Occasionally provides back-up for Laboratory Technician (Outside)
Keeps records of activities and results and enters data into the Laboratory Information Management system.
Performs wet chemistry analysis in the laboratory.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A two-year completion of a three year Community College Environmental Technology Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Over six months, up to and including one year.
Specialized Training & Licenses:
Skills and abilities in the following areas are necessary:
~ Valid Driver's Licence - Class G.

Compensation & Other Information:
$43,779 - $64,094 (Level 7)
This posting is for one (1) permanent full-time position being filled on a permanent full-time basis.
Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Work Arrangement: Onsite. Subject to change in accordance with business requirements.
These hours of work are subject to change in accordance with the Collective Agreement and may include evening hours and Saturdays.
