Health & Safety Specialist
Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking Health & Safety Specialists for upcoming opportunities in Halton Region! These opportunities will be for a safety professional who enjoys variety—you will be driving a proactive safety culture within an organization.
Program Management: Support the implementation and maintenance of H&S programs within organizations.
- Compliance & Auditing: Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and auditing where required.
- Data-Driven Safety: Analyze trends and report on performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Training & Mentorship: Deliver engaging safety training to both frontline employees and leadership.
- Facilitate Joint Health & Safety Committees (JHSC) and partner with management to mitigate risks.
Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in OHS or a related field.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and MOL regulations.
