As a Used Equipment Inspector you will work very closely with the Used Equipment Managers here at Finning. You will be assessing the physical condition of the equipment and assisting with re-marketing the assets.
You are a strong communicator have a mechanical aptitude and excellent time management skills. Youre a team player and work well with minimal supervision.
Perform comprehensive machine assessment including scheduling physical confirmation of build specs cosmetic details operation of all functions and photos.
Upload all pictures to specified site.
Liaise with Service facility to provide Used Equipment Managers with estimate for reconditioning.
Research and document machine service and maintenance history including oil sample results.
Assist Used Equipment Mangers with market research staging of equipment freight arrangements and consultation with Service facility to complete repairs.
Technical certification required (Heavy Equipment Technician).
Previous experience working with heavy equipment preferred.
Sales and/or marketing experience will be considered an asset.
Travel will be required (10%-20%).
Permanent full-time role.
- 5x2 Monday Friday shift.
