Account Manager – Electrical & Energy Solutions
MacDonald Search Group has been asked by a leading Canadian distributor of electrical and energy solutions to find an experienced Account Manager for the Ottawa West territory. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives on growing established accounts while developing new business in a fast-evolving sector.
Develop and execute territory growth plans focused on sales targets
Strengthen relationships with current customers and key industry vendors
Actively prospect and onboard new accounts within the assigned territory
Serve as a liaison between clients, internal operational teams, and project stakeholders
Represent the company’s full portfolio, including energy, automation, lighting, and connected network solutions
Deliver a customer-first experience by providing value-added support and solutions
Promote company values while enhancing customer and vendor engagement
2–3 years of experience in sales or account management, ideally in industrial, electrical, or energy-related sectors
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
