Project Manager - Commercial Manager

Innovate and Lead - In this role, you'll be at the forefront of shaping commercial strategies for major rail and transit projects across Ontario. You'll collaborate with senior leadership and project teams to deliver contractual excellence and drive impactful outcomes for communities.

Lead commercial oversight for major rail and transit projects, ensuring compliance with corporate objectives and client expectations.

Negotiate and manage complex agreements including teaming, joint ventures, and subconsultant contracts.

Advise bid teams on commercial strategy, risk profiles, and client terms during proposal development.

Drive change management processes, proactively identifying scope deviations and quantifying impacts.

Partner with Project Controls and Finance to monitor financial health, mitigate variances, and optimize performance.

Resolve disputes and claims through strategic analysis and documentation, safeguarding project success.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to corporate initiatives that enhance commercial governance.

10+ years of experience in commercial and contract management for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Strong knowledge of Canadian construction law and contract administration.

Proven ability to lead negotiations and manage high-value agreements in a consulting environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint; familiarity with Oracle or similar ERP systems.

Strategic thinker with adaptability to manage ambiguity and deadline-driven environments.

Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) certification or similar designation is an asset.

Experience with rail and transit projects considered an advantage.

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
