The Financial Analyst is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of monthly and annual reporting requirements. Responsible for the accompanying analysis - variance analysis and accounting of transactions and delivery of financial information on a timely and accurate basis. As a new, integral member of the Financial Reporting & Accounting team, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist in the month-end accounting close process.
Perform a reasonability test on key financial items such as revenues and general expenses
Prepare and/or review budget information relating to utilities and building expenses;
Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and resolution of findings/errors with responsible staff to ensure proper process is in place;
Assist in the preparation and publishing of monthly financial statements and supporting analytical reports.
University in Accounting/ Finance;
Minimum of 2-3 years of work-related experience in the finance/accounting department.
Advanced knowledge of Excel (e.g. Final base salary offers will reflect an assessment of the selected candidate's skills, demonstrated competencies, and adherence to our internal pay equity framework.
