Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

Reporting to the Director, FP&A at RCL – Reitmans Canada Limited, the Senior Analyst, FP&A supports financial planning and analysis across the organization. In this role, you will go beyond traditional reporting by supporting forward-looking analysis, contributing to key financial processes, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings an analytical mindset, curiosity, and a willingness to learn, with the ability to turn financial data into clear insights that support business decisions.
Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and planning, while helping translate financial data into meaningful insights.
Monitor performance against budget and forecast, analyze variances, and identify trends, risks, and opportunities across sales, margins, and other key performance indicators.
Partner with teams across Merchandising, Store Operations, Supply Chain, and E-commerce to understand business needs and provide financial analysis that supports day-to-day and longer-term decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in FP&A or a similar analytical role.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling.
Comfortable working in Excel and organizing, consolidating, and validating financial data from multiple sources.
Experience with Prophix and PeopleSoft is an asset.
Bilingual in French and English to collaborate with teams and stakeholders across Canada.
