Full time interior designer required

The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident in communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.

Life Space Interior Design is the parent company of Vancouver Sauna and Timeless Wine Cellars,
both of which create high-end custom woodworking projects in the Greater Vancouver Area. Our
office/showroom is located in North Vancouver. Our company fabricates and installs custom high-
end wine cellars and saunas throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and the BC Interior.

Position:
Full-time Interior Design position at our North Vancouver office/showroom—no remote work.

Successful Candidates will have/be:

• Good organization skills
• Computer skills with Mac computers
• Proficient with SketchUp
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-oriented
• Punctual, reliable, and honest
• Good work ethic and quality consciousness
• Ability to think on your feet with problem-solving skills
• Good verbal skills (English)

• 2 - 3 years of experience in a related field, Proficient in SketchUp, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong creative and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to execute
• Proficient in AutoCAD LT, SketchUp (2+ years required).
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction principles.
• Helping with general office and administration duties
• Guiding potential clients through our showroom, products, and services
• Drafting designs for sauna and wine cellar projects using SketchUp
• Creating shop drawings for commercial construction projects with SketchUp Layout
• Responding to emails and phone calls
• Maintain a positive relationship with clients by acting professionally
• Additional tasks as required
