This role requires full-time on-site presence. FunctionPerform (alone or assisted by other technicians whose work you co-ordinate in conjunction with production teams) duties associated with maintaining production and broadcasting systems/equipment in a cross-functional environment that includes networking, optics, electronics, computer systems, mechanics, machining, welding, hydraulics and pneumatics.Perform all duties associated with maintaining production and broadcasting systems/equipment (function-testing, configuring, installing, inspecting, diagnosing troubleshooting, repairing and refurbishing).

Be responsible, as a contributor, for the technical aspect of the work performed by technicians.

Run tests and make complex adjustments in order to improve performance of technical facilities.

Design, modify and manufacture parts, equipment and tools requiring the use of various techniques (mechanics, machining, welding, hydraulics and pneumatics). Adjust, operate and maintain machining, welding, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery and equipment in order to modify and manufacture parts, tools and equipment.

Source parts and technical materials, contacting vendors for information as needed and sharing it with the people concerned.

Carry out preventive maintenance and help develop means and processes enabling better use and easier maintenance of equipment.

Advise others on installing, commissioning and using production/broadcasting equipment and systems.

convey information in person or in writing to ensure proper follow-up and to keep others informed.

College diploma (DSC) in electronics technology (audiovisual, telecommunications or computer systems option) or other relevant field.
