Chef de Partie - Seasonal Role

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie to join the opening team of Rimrock Banff, Emblems Collection, a reimagined luxury destination and brand-new chapter for this iconic property, featuring innovative and elevated food & beverage concepts.

24.00 hourly wage, based on previous experience and education.

The Chef de Partie thrives in structure, leads by example, and brings discipline and energy to a fast-paced environment where excellence is non-negotiable.

Prepare, season, and cook dishes to exact specifications, consistently delivering exceptional quality.

Lead a team of culinary professionals, providing coaching, training, and inspiration.

Develop menu ideas, features, and seasonal offerings in collaboration with the Sous and Executive Chef.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Maintain assigned station and overall kitchen cleanliness, following HACCP and sanitation standards.

Manage food costs, portion control, and waste reduction.

Collaborate with a passionate team of culinary professionals, fostering a positive, high-performance environment.

Culinary degree and minimum 5 years’ experience in a high-volume, upscale kitchen (Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef experience preferred).

Strong knife skills and mastery of a variety of cooking techniques.

FOODSAFE certification an asset.

Experience with sustainable, local, or farm-to-table cuisine.

Knowledge of advanced culinary techniques or international flavors.

A passion for coaching, skill development, and continuous learning.

Ability to work in a hot, noisy, and fast-paced environment for extended shifts.

Visa Requirements: The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
