Skills & Education:
Demonstrated ability to provide design/drafting expertise and execute project.
AutoCAD experience in drawing plans, modifications, tile layouts/flooring/paint and proficiency with other technology i.e. Office 365, SharePoint, Adobe etc.
Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with clients, co-workers, management etc.
Construction experience is preferred but not required.
Job duties:
Meeting with clients to review plans, contract specifications and interior/exterior finishes
Creating layouts (flooring, lighting, exterior elevations, detail drawings)
Designing and drawing kitchens
Entering change orders for potential upgrades and once priced presenting to clients for approval
Finalizing all selections in file
Ordering materials for construction i.e. cabinets, countertops etc.
Site meetings to review electrical layouts with client
Prepare material and colour schemes for spec homes and show homes
Uploading files into online storage room- SharePoint
Assisting in home staging
Creating client binders and assisting with information flow to clients
