Job Title: Medical Radiation Technologist (Nuclear Medicine Technologist/BMD Technologist)
Reporting to: Clinic Leader / Regional Leader
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Hours of Work: 37.5 Work hours per Week (Day Evening Flexible Hours Overtime Weekend)
Wage: $43 CAD per hour

Maintain all company standards including quality of work and results test procedure and methodology turn-around time confidentiality of test results; assist and/or provide training as required.
answer technical questions carrying out any necessary information Demonstrate knowledge on company procedures and standards; including procedures relating to the performance and documentation of examinations booking system reporting procedures turn-around time equipment and methods used in other company centers and the amount of training required to attain familiarity.
Operates and maintains equipment via participation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance tests.
Ensure personal development through training courses and/or training appropriately to upgrade technical skills abilities and knowledge.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities that may be assigned and ability to work in various shifts.
May perform radiation detection through gamma cameras scanners scintillation counters tomodensitometers and ionization chambers to acquire data for use by nuclear medicine physicians in the diagnosis of disease. (Only applicable to Nuclear Medicine Technologists)
Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Current and valid Certificate of Registration with the Association of Medical Radiation Technologists of the relevant
Knowledge and proficiency in general nuclear medicine procedures.
Maintain current CPR and First Aid certificate.
Strong organizational and interpersonal awareness & skills good command of the English language and excellent
communication skills accuracy dependable flexible judgement reliable and team player attention to detail.
Ability to work varying shifts and ability to work independently as well as part of a team and in a fast paced
Self-evaluate performance establish personal objectives and participate in yearly staff performance review.
