Manufacturing Engineering Lab Technologist

The Materials Technologist will be responsible for materials and process development of the solid oxide cell.

Prepare solid oxide fuel cells and other ceramic components using novel materials, tape casting, screen printing, dispensing, slip casting, and high temperature sintering.

Contribute to ceramic materials development projects as a team member, including development of materials and processing conditions to prepare and test new components. Accurate record keeping in a laboratory environment will be required.

Assist in ceramic process engineering development in the area of slurry, slip and paste formulation for solid oxide cell, seal and other ceramic components for solid oxide stacks.

Materials Science Diploma or equivalent

Hands-on equipment knowledge related to materials laboratory.

Experience utilizing different laboratory equipment is required.

Good knowledge of metallic or ceramic materials.

A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office

Technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Multi-work environment (manufacturing, production, warehouse, research and development, office) requiring the use of PPE

Full-time hours (40 hrs a week)

Travel Requirements
