We are a growing startup looking for a hands-on Intermediate Accountant to own day-to-day accounting operations and support the build-out of scalable financial processes. You will work independently on core accounting tasks while partnering with external advisors or fractional finance leadership for complex areas such as audits, technical accounting, and ect.

Core Accounting & Close
Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts
Prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
Prepare basic financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
Operational Accounting
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Coordinate payroll and benefits administration
Track expenses, prepaid costs, and fixed assets
Support corporate tax filings with external accountants
Assist with audit or review engagements
Help improve and document accounting processes
Support budgeting and cash flow tracking
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3–6 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar)
• CPA candidate or intention to pursue CPA designation
