In this Payroll analyst position located in Mississauga, you will be responsible for the following:

• Process bi-weekly and weekly payroll for over 1000 employees across Canada accurately and on time using ADP WFN and Ceridian Dayforce, UKG.
• Verify and reconcile timecards to ensure accuracy of hours worked, overtime, and paid time off.
• Calculate and process adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and other compensation elements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local payroll tax regulations, including withholding and reporting requirements.
• Generate payroll reports and provide insights to management on payroll metrics, trends, and costs.
• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, deductions, and earnings statements.
• Collaborate with HR to onboard new employees and ensure accurate setup in the payroll system.
• Assist with year-end payroll processes, including T4 preparation and distribution.
• Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Continuously identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.

In this Payroll analyst position located in Mississauga, we are looking for:

• Minimum 3 years of Canadian payroll experience is required.
• Multiprovince payroll processing experience is required.
• Experience with UKG or ADP is an asset.
• Experience working within retail or similar industries is a great asset.
• Knowledge of US Payroll is a great asset.
