Sales Representative - Full Time, Monday - Friday!

As we continue to lead in industrial automation, we are expanding our team and need a driven and knowledgeable Drive Systems Sales professional to help grow our business. If you thrive on building relationships, solving customer challenges, and driving sales in a technical environment, we want to hear from you.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Drive Systems Sales professional to join our team in Port Coquitlam, BC. This role focuses on selling Motor Control and Motor Starting systems, with a particular focus on Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) systems, to customers across multiple industries, including:
Ports and Terminals
Industrial (Metals, Paper, Chemical, Mining)
General Industry (Automotive, Manufacturing)
Utilities (Power Plants, Water and Wastewater)
Marine
Oil & Gas
As a Drive Systems Sales specialist, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and working closely with engineering and project teams to deliver top-tier solutions. Some travel may be required to support customers in various locations.
Selling drive systems, electrical controls, and automation solutions to new and existing customers
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and industry partners
Identifying opportunities for growth within assigned territories and target markets
Providing technical expertise and guidance on drive system selection and integration
Collaborating with the engineering team to develop customized solutions for customer needs
Managing the entire sales process, from lead generation to project close-out
Attending trade shows, networking events, and customer site visits to expand market reach
Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in drive systems, industrial automation, or electrical solutions
Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear value propositions for customers
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Experience managing long sales cycles and capital equipment sales
A valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field is an asset but not required
