Backend Software Engineer (Machine Learning)

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer II to join our team focused on enhancing the notification capabilities within the OneDrive and SharePoint ecosystem. In this role, you will contribute to building large-scale distributed systems on Azure and the M365 Substrate, leveraging micro-services architecture, machine learning, and other innovative technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance services that support our vision of transforming users into “AI natives.” This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud technology, contributing to products that help people find, manage, and act on information more efficiently.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Ability to meet security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, with 2+ years of relevant experience
- 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in relevant languages
- Strong understanding of system reliability, observability, and performance optimization
