Guest Service Representative
Position Type: Part-Time
Wage: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Various Shifts - 0930 to 1900
Allied Universal is proud to support a high-profile shopping destination located in the heart of downtown Victoria. As part of our on-site customer service team, the Guest Service Representative plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience by delivering professional, welcoming, and solution-oriented service on behalf of our client. Reporting directly to the Guest Service Lead , this front-line position assists guests, supports marketing initiatives, and helps ensure daily operations run smoothly.
Customer Service & Guest Support
Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively, escalating as necessary to the Customer Service Lead
Retailer & Gift Card Program Support
Assist with gift card sales, transactions, and basic troubleshooting
Provide general support to retail tenants (e.g., Maintain accurate gift card inventory and handle transactions using POS systems
Support the execution of mall events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
Distribute promotional materials and respond to related guest inquiries
Assist with data tracking for marketing or promotional initiatives as directed by the Customer Service Lead
Follow all opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and shift reporting
Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the guest services desk
High School Diploma required
- 1–2 years of customer service or front-line experience in a retail, hospitality, or tourism environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency
- Knowledge of downtown Victoria or retail center operations is an asset
Friendly and approachable with a passion for helping others
Availability during holiday seasons and peak shopping periods is required
