Also responsible for filing, burring, crimping, framing, drilling, and reaming. Our company is looking for a Structural Assembler to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Report discrepancies;
  • Ensure that work performed complies with current manuals and specifications, Avianor guidelines, drawings and Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs);
  • Contribute to the achievement of defined objectives;
  • Check compliance of work with the generic and specific standards defined in the technical documentation;
  • Perform all other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor;
  • Maintain clean work environment at all times;
  • Be sure to self-inspect your work to maintain a high level of quality and report any irregularities;
  • Use various production techniques for assembly, including fastening with rivets;
  • Know and apply the rules, procedures and processes relating to its operations and where to find them;
  • Follow the procedures, processes and instructions provided;
  • Conduct an inventory of components prior to assembly;
  • Ensure the technical development of the assembled unit after control;
  • Use the tools for assembly;
  • Apply the QSE management system in force;
  • Report all work.

Requirements:

  • Use of adequate and calibrated tools;
  • Good understanding of English (oral and written);
  • Capacity to work under pressure and in a team, and to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment;
  • Good understanding of technical drawings and an analytical approach;
  • Capacity to apply and monitor policies and procedures connected with your position;
  • Ability to work safely;
  • Capacity to report any incident, accident or potential hazard via the SMS;
  • A Certificate in safe driving (CACES), a permit or authorization security, conditioned by a medical fitness exam;
  • Capacity to update and communicate information regarding work experience and professional qualifications to resource department;
  • Completion of training related to the position;
  • PSC (vocational training certificate), CAP/BEP General mechanics, Editor airframe, aircraft CQPM Editor or equivalent cell;
  • Adherence to and promotion of CAR Safety Management System Requirements 107.02;
  • DEP with 0-2 years of experience;
  • Use of most recent applicable standards;
  • Analytical, manual skills and attention to detail.
