Our company is looking for a Students to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements, corporate and personal income tax returns, GST returns, payroll for owner managed businesses, T4s, T5s;
- Meeting deadlines as assigned by the partner or senior staff accountant;
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- The ability to rapidly absorb and utilize information in a fast-paced work environment;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment;
- A thorough understanding of accounting and the accounting industry;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
- Basic experience in or understanding of various software programs, including Simply Accounting, Quickbooks, Caseware and Microsoft Office.
