Our company is looking for a Site Security Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Recording and tracking of all security-related activity on the premises;
  • Resolve work-related problems and submit documents/reports in written or electronic form;
  • Face-to-face customer service to clients & their guests;
  • Operate security control-room equipment to monitor establishment activities;
  • Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with client representatives and outside parties;
  • Control access, responding to client requests and on-site emergencies;
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of all security officers establishing work schedules and procedures;
  • Ensure operation of computer systems and security systems equipment;
  • High visibility patrol routes to guard against theft, trespass, vandalism and fire;
  • Investigation and alarm response, ensuring that establishment safety and emergency procedures are followed;
  • Enforce regulations to maintain order in accordance with Site Manuals and Client instructions;
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policy.

Requirements:

  • Ability to focus on staff development, training and customer satisfaction;
  • Ability to multitask;
  • Minimum of 2 years of Security experience as a Supervisor, ideally in a fast-paced setting;
  • Excellent documentation, communication and conflict resolution skills;
  • A high standard for safety & a passion for security;
  • A Valid BC Security License;
  • Additional certifications are an asset: Occupational First Aid Level 1, 2, AST, Etc;
  • Ability to make decisions and delegate duties;
  • Excellence in customer service & professional deportment;
  • Ability to lead by example providing clear and consistent leadership and guidance;
  • Demonstrated personal integrity and responsibility;
  • Post secondary education, and college courses related to Supervision and Personnel Management;
  • Ability to recognize problems and respond appropriately.
