Site Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Site Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve customer complaints when needed;
- Assign work duties to workers and prepare work schedules with the management/ownership;
- Follow up on deadlines and attend site meetings;
- Inspect work progress and verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met;
- Follow fiscal policy set by Management;
- Order or requisition materials or supplies;
- Contribute to achieving budgeted customer profitability as measured by EBIT,EBITDA;
- Provide daily site and weekly safety reports; conduct safety talks;
- Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans;
- Prepare and submit proper paperwork to document expenses, safety statistics, payroll information and other as required by policy;
- Conduct site meetings as required;
- Contribute to solving technical problems;
- Understand and enhance service requirements to continually improve customer profitability;
- Ensure work is done in compliance with all OSHA and Regulations and all applicable health & safety policies and procedures;
- Determine job costs according to standard methods and established plans and specifications.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required;
- Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills;
- 4+ years’ experience;
- Be a self-starter with a strong work ethic;
- Proficient in using power, manual equipment and measuring tools;
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction;
- Safety training – Provide all safety certificates; Abcott Construction will arrange for any mandatory training if required;
- Valid driver’s license.
