Media & Marketing Assistant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Media & Marketing Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Be knowledgeable in all safety procedures: including fire, land and aquatic emergency procedures;
- Ensure that video/photos taken are in line with the standards set by Hockey Opportunity Camp;
- Provide care to our campers that reflect the standards and guidelines of the Hockey Opportunity Camp’s Child Care Practices;
- Work alongside the Camp Director to create summer content to post on Social Media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube);
- Sign and abide by Hockey Opportunity Camp’s Privacy Policy;
- Organize/sort captured media into files for summer & off-season marketing purposes;
- Follow a set schedule to assist in capturing marketing worthy media material;
- Create and execute your job in a productive, professional and fun manner;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Be an active participant in the camp community;
- Assist the Camp Photographer with capturing daily photo quantities and uploading to our Bunk1 photo viewing platform;
- Experience working in a Mac OSX / Google environment;
- Attend Staff Orientation week in late June.
Requirements:
- Familiar with programs such as Mac OSX, Google Applications, Apple iMovie, Photoshop and CMS applications for editing photos and video;
- Must be an enthusiastic, energetic and positive person;
- Valid G driver’s license;
- Genuine interest in working at a residential camp;
- Must be willing to take part in camp related activities outside the defined job description;
- A minimum of 18 years of age;
- Genuine interest and experience in photography/videography/marketing;
- Must be an outgoing, self-starter type person.
