F&B Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a F&B Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures a fun environment for the team;
- Monitors employee morale and is in charge of annual appraisals;
- Oversees collection and submissions of payroll related items and leave forms to the Human Resources;
- Assists to ensure the restaurant and lounge is managed efficiently and profitably;
- Oversees any complicated guest experiences and holds authority to adjust bills at end of day;
- Oversee associates in training, ensuring fulfillment of responsibilities, motivation and career path;
- Regular review and control of Food and Beverage outlets costs;
- Ensure venue is fully staffed at all times and if understaffed is responsible to helping to source candidate;
- Oversees any assigned administrative duties while ensuring efficient and accurate reporting;
- Conduct daily pre-shift briefings to inform and motivate associates;
- Through hands on management, supervises closely all service employees in the performance of their duties;
- Ensure all events and private bookings are well looked after with highest standards of service;
- Oversee database collection with reception team;
- Ensures schedule is created in accordance to business needs as well as employee well being;
- Liaise with kitchen on daily operations and quality control.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients used for menu items;
- Excellent customer service and inter-personal skills;
- Comprehensive understanding of business financial reporting, productivity requirements, P&L;
- Well-developed computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office and POS systems;
- Fluent in English; additional languages preferred with Mandarin or Cantonese considered an asset;
- Ability to identify talent for hiring, retention, and internal promotions;
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in high end Food and Beverage leadership experience;
- Outstanding ability to train and motivate staff;
- Neat, clean and polished appearance with the utmost hygienic standards.
