Our company is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Greets customers, presents menus, answers questions, offers suggestions;
  • Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained;
  • Establish work schedules;
  • Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures;
  • Monitoring the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills;
  • Assist with other functions and tasks, as assigned by the General Manager;
  • Perform same duties as bartenders and servers, as required;
  • Liquor and beer inventory and rotation;
  • Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations;
  • Ensures day-to-day operations are consistent and corrects errors;
  • Expedites food during peak times;
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of servers and bartenders;
  • Scheduling, payroll and daily administration tasks related to the front of house restaurant;
  • Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked;
  • Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a Fast-paced, noisy environment;
  • Team player;
  • Excellent oral communication and effective interpersonal skills;
  • Serving it Right Certificate;
  • Ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines;
  • 1-2 Years supervisory experience;
  • Client focus;
  • Food Safe 1.
