Our company is looking for a Delivery Assistant / Rooftop Helper to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Unloading/receiving all deliveries;
- Other tasks as required;
- Safely working on rooftops to assist with unloading products;
- Providing excellent customer service;
- Completing pick ticket orders;
- Treating all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner;
- Performing rotating loading or unloading duties as assigned on a daily basis;
- Pulling and staging orders for each company delivery truck;
- Checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery;
- Operating forklifts safely and responsibly;
- Performing all duties safely.
Requirements:
- Roofing material knowledge is a plus;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Superior attention to detail;
- Forklift experience preferred (we will train if necessary);
- Able to lift 75-100 pounds consistently;
- Ability to climb, bend, twist, reach and stand throughout complete shifts;
- Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
