Skilled Labourer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Skilled Labourer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain company safety guidelines and practices;
- Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection;
- Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts;
- Assist other craft workers;
- Demolition;
- Operate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete or pavement;
- Provide basic machine adjustments and maintenance;
- Apply and learn established working methods;
- Perform tasks involving physical labor at building, highway, and heavy construction projects, tunnel and shaft excavations, and demolition sites;
- Shovel cement and other materials into portable cement mixers; and mix, pour, and spread concrete.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment;
- Experience using measurement tools and reading blueprints – mandatory;
- Good machine programming skills;
- Ability to provide physical effort – some heavy lifting required;
- Comfortable using both hand and power tools.
