Our company is looking for a Financial Analyst, FP&A to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of pro-forma models to support Mejuri’s retail expansion;
  • Develop insightful, value-added analysis driving financial results through fact based decision making;
  • Develop an understanding of Mejuri’s business processes, systems, and financial statements;
  • Assist in ad hoc projects as required;
  • Assist in weekly revenue reporting to Company and retail executives;
  • Participate as a key business partner of the financial operations team, influencing decision making and identifying finance priorities;
  • Confirm business-critical invoices, charges, fees and manage vendor relations;
  • Develop compelling dashboards by leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau or other web-based platforms;
  • Develop and monitor critical leading indicator metrics and success benchmarks and communicate actionable insights to relevant stakeholders;
  • Develop a robust and scalable corporate financial risk management program;
  • Identify areas of financial risk and opportunities to the company;
  • Ensure that all financial reports are issued timely and accurately;
  • Improve current reporting processes through automation or process changes;
  • Provide accounting support to established scalable processes and industry standardized practices to support the growing business;
  • Develop financial KPI for the business initiative to provide performance and efficiency matrix.

Requirements:

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects pragmatically to support team efficiency;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, G-Suite and Jira;
  • English, Native or bilingual proficiency;
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or economics;
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial statements;
  • Maintain the highest standards of accuracy and precision; detail-oriented, highly-organized and resourceful;
  • Deep empathy for users of financial information and are able to create succinct narratives out of quantitative analyses;
  • Experience in building financial models and risk management tools;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
  • Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting;
  • Ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects with high attention to detail;
  • Enjoy working with and synthesize extremely large and complex data sets;
  • Fluency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau is definitely a plus;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills.
