Our company is looking for a Project Financial Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial data reports for projects review cycles;
  • Participate in improvement of PMO methods, tools and enhancement initiatives (e.g. Planisware, Oracle, Workforce) where appropriate;
  • Assist the project team on specific business tasks including, resource loading, project reviews, etc;
  • Prepare analysis of performance for each project and perform variance analysis, including but not limited to forecasts, invoicing, and budgets;
  • Ensures processes and templates established by the PMO are followed by the project managers;
  • Participate in the development and updates of project plans.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 6 years experience in project financials;
  • Able to work flexible hours (which may include week-ends and/or public holidays) if required;
  • Ability to influence decisions from top down and bottom up;
  • Fluency in English (mandatory);
  • 5 years of project environment experience in a large enterprise;
  • Oracle Projects knowledge highly desirable;
  • CAPM or other project management certification preferred;
  • Good knowledge of project management practices;
  • Demonstrated ability to flexible and capable of dealing with varying requests;
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel (mandatory);
  • Management level interface and presentation skills;
  • Ability to build and manage relationships in a multi-disciplinary team;
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving and project budget planning/tracking and financial analysis skills;
  • Oracle financial knowledge preferred;
  • Be able to hold a Canadian Security Clearance & Controlled Good Clearance (mandatory).
