Bookkeeper / Accounting Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Bookkeeper / Accounting Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Completing bank reconciliations, AP/AR, GST returns, and T4/T5 forms;
- Keep and maintain bookkeeping systems;
- Closely monitors the day to day processing of accounts payable establishing and maintaining a schedule that most benefits the;
- Creating time efficiencies and managing your schedule with multiple deadlines;
- Providing bookkeeping services to various clients, primarily using QuickBooks Online and Desktop;
- Contributing to our positive team dynamic with all levels of staff and management.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
- Strong financial and operational management skills;
- 2+ years of experience as Bookkeeper with good experience working in corporate setting;
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and work on multiple tasks simultaneously and balance priorities;
- Good English language skills;
- Must be able to work independently;
- College Diploma, Bookkeeping, Business Administration, Accounting, Financial Analysis;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
- Experience working with Business Sage Works;
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
