Project Geotechnical Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Project Geotechnical Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and contractors;
- Supervising and mentoring of junior technical staff;
- Preparation of logs, analyze geotechnical data, and prepare concise geotechnical reports and technical memos with pertinent recommendations.
Requirements:
- Valid BC driver’s licence or equivalent;
- Registration as a P.Eng. in BC, or eligible for registration;
- Organized, good written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and general computer knowledge;
- University degree in geotechnical/geological engineering or civil engineering with a geotechnical emphasis;
- Ability to work both independently and with a multidiscipline team in various environments is essential;
- Familiarity with seismic engineering and modelling is an asset.
