Space Planning Coordinator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Space Planning Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Management and Sales and other internal teams as needed to define and execute event objectives;
- Research, select, and effectively manage vendor relationships;
- Develop, envision and implement effective space planning based on market, venue, project goals, etc;
- Planning calls to provide up to date project plans and budget updates;
- Manage individual event budgets that are within the quarterly/yearly budget commitments and process invoices for payment in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, internet;
- Ability to multi-task, balance priorities and make decisions quickly;
- High school degree required; college degree is an asset;
- Capable of working independently, with little supervision, in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong planning, organizational and presentation skills with attention to detail;
- Strong “people” skills and ability to work with different personality types;
- Deadline oriented and creative problem solver;
- Experience working with tight deadlines that are not negotiable;
- At least 2 years in Event Planning/Space Planning(Preferred);
- High school or equivalent (Required).
