Operations Support Clerk Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Operations Support Clerk to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Other duties as assigned;
- Help coordinate and supervise the activities with the processing team;
- Prepare all department documentation;
- Assist team with troubleshooting any RF Issues;
- Supporting activities on the floor as required,( RF Scan, pick, pack, Fill Active);
- Ensure that all productivity reports are accurate and achieved to maintain service level standards;
- Manage order flow in the system (PKMS) and on the floor with the team;
- Respond to all internal or client inquiries (via telephone, email, fax or in person) in a professional, polite manner;
- Data entry for multiple customers.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills: verbal, written, listening;
- Excellent keyboarding skills well versed in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word;
- Knowledge and experience using PkMS and Navigator an asset;
- Detail orientated & comfortable working in a fast-paced environment;
- Able and willing to work overtime as required in order to meet time-sensitive service level standards;
- RF scanning experience is an asset;
- Able to work with multiple systems simultaneously. – The ability to lift up to 50 lbs;
- 1-2 years experience in a distribution, transportation and/or logistics environment is an asset;
- Minimum High School diploma; College diploma preferred;
- Clean criminal background;
- Safety shoes are a must;
- Warehouse and/or retail experience preferred;
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Proven ability to encourage and motivate others in a positive manner.
