As a Railway Station Security Guard , there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in a Rail environment.

Responsibilities For Railway Station Security Guard
- Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide Passengers
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Patrol the site and Reporting with G-Track device.
- Check all doors and ensure they are closed and not jimmied anyway to allow for entrance
- Conduct regular exterior and interior patrol with G-Track to deter potential threats and ensure the security of the area
- Respond to emergencies
- Monitor CCTV/alarms
- Visible deterrent to any vagrancy, vandalism, and/or loitering. Must be vigilant in patrolling those areas and be visible walking around.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment
Qualifications For Railway Station Security Guard
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Manitoba security license
- First aid certification an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- Previous experience in the Security industry is an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be available to Mandatory trainings
