Are you passionate about eyewear, patient care, and helping people feel confident in their vision? iSight Optometry is looking for a full-time Optical Assistant / Optician to join our supportive and close-knit team in Kelowna.
This is a great opportunity for someone with optical experience who enjoys combining patient care, eyewear styling, and hands-on optical work in a busy and collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
- Guide patients in selecting frames that complement their prescription, face shape, personal style, and lifestyle.
- Take precise optical measurements and ensure proper fit and comfort.
- Dispense eyewear and perform frame adjustments and repairs.
- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear solutions so they can make confident decisions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing optical area.
- Provide a warm and exceptional patient experience from start to finish.
- Collaborate with the clinic team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications
- 1+ year of Optician or Optical Assistant experience is preferred , but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Must be able to reliably commute to our Kelowna clinic for in-person work.
What We Offer
- $21.00–$28.00 per hour , based on experience.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week .
- Monday to Friday – no weekends!
