Senior SAP Basis Administrator

Position Responsibilities Maintain and guide landscape deployment and management Advise on the infrastructure deployment in regards to the landscape Mentor current basis team on daily operational procedures and best practices Implement basis project tasks as required Troubleshoot and resolve second level basis issues Help troubleshoot OS/infrastructure issues Implement support patches and OSS notes to system, in accordance with the existing Change Control procedure Manage elements associated with transports and releases Advise and ensure SAP System back-up and maintenance Formal Education Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent Certification(s)/Designation(s) preferred in related area Related Experience 5-7 years administration of SAP Applications and 2-4 years of the integration of various SAP Applications Previous experience with the following components (SolMan, BI, CRM, Banking Services, ECC, EP, and PI 7.1) Hands on installation, maintenance, and system copies HP-UX and Oracle experience in a High Availability environment Knowledge of system and software best practices and methodologies such as background scheduling and monitoring, Strategic/forward thinking and control, landscape maintenance, backup/recovery procedures Use of Solution Manager as a central tool for managing and monitoring an SAP Landscape Performance tuning Skills SAP Netweaver administration and knowledge - advanced SAP Transport and release SAP Security and Authorizations SAP Back up and restore ABAP - proficient Quality focused Problem solving - exceptional Analytical thinking Customer service focused Communication (verbal) - excellent Position Complexities Bilingualism an asset Some work beyond standard hours Acknowledgement All employees of Home Capital Group Inc. must comply with all applicable Home Capital Group Inc, Home Trust Company, and specific Line of Business policies, standards, guidelines and controls.
