Elevate printing performance as the Press Department Manager at Hartmann Canada in Brantford, Ontario. Your leadership will ensure operational excellence and sustainability in product quality. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the printing department within a 24/7 facility. This position requires effective people management, adherence to safety policies, and proficiency in quality control. You'll actively participate in efficiency tracking and implement improvements based on data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day operations of printing equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Train and mentor team members in printing processes
• Standardize SOPs and maintain documentation of improvements
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across printing operations Requirements:
• 5-7 years in a printing management role
• Strong understanding of ink systems and print processes
• Proficiency in quality control and process enhancements
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge is an asset
